I was born in 1959 in Salinas del Manzano, a beautiful village in the mountainous region of Cuenca. My childhood took place there, this time made bloom my feelings that after contributed to form my personality.
My memories exist thanks to I learned from what it could not be and I imagine what it would have been; however, the circumstances at that time did not let anyone breathe the fresh air of the region. At the age of nine, my family and I moved to Barcelona and there, I grew as a young woman modelling my personality and artistic desire. I would have liked to make it into Fine Arts, or Massana School, but everything was left behind because of the great event: “my daughter’s birth”…and the dream had to wait leaving aside my will, hobby or art, I took my time taking care of my family.
In 1986, I arrive to Jaén where I start feeling again the same butterfly which reminds me of painting in the Popular University; but one more time I decide to move to a region full of storks: Cáceres. In this city I remain for four years, later I moved to Trujillo where I definitely retook that will which was put aside on the corner of my heart in 1998.
What made me wake up to paint again? One afternoon my son showed up with a canvas and asking for me to paint a painting for his Crafts Art class. I walked around for hours and could not sleep at all but, at five in the morning I had the first artistic contact with my feelings. Nowadays, I paint for pleasure, an example of my paintings can be found in Ediciones Ecuador 21 S.L. Enciclopedia Nacional, tomo V “Artistas del siglo XXI” on page 470.
My artwork so far is formed by more than a hundred paintings, all of them spread out in the Iberian Peninsula, also in private collections, existing with permanent character, one of my works can be visited in Trujillo (Cheese and Wine Museum).
My stile is realism, with very diverse topics such as Extremadura landscapes, storks, marines and portraits.
On these days, with the opening of Tanitex C.B. I have been able to experiment my art in move, it is so beautiful to enjoy gymnasts, dancers, skaters… carrying out their choreography and montage with maillots all of them painted in different topics and in a close-up harmony, complicity, coordination between body, moves and clothing.
